******THE BELOW SYNOPSIS IS BEING AMENDED TO ADD THE OPTION OF PURCHASING AN ADDITIONAL 5 UNITS OF EACH FORKLIFT WITHIN ONE CALENDAR YEAR OF DATE OF AWARD. THE GOVERNMENT WILL EVALUATE OFFERS FOR AWARD PURPOSES BY ADDING THE TOTAL PRICE FOR ALL OPTIONS TO THE TOTAL PRICE FOR THE BASIC REQUIREMENT. EVALUATION OF OPTIONS WILL NOT OBLIGATE GOVERNMENT TO EXERCISE THE OPTION. APPROXIMATE ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION IS NOW 20 JANUARY 2010*** North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333924, FSC 3930. Brand Name or Equal: Hyster H50FT, 5,000 lb diesel forklift, Quantity (5). Brand Name or Equal: Hyster E60Z, 6,000 lb electric forklift, Quantity (1).Brand Name or Equal: Hyster E50Z, 5,000 lb electric forklift, Quantity (4). FOB Destination, Blue Grass Army Depot, Richmond, Kentucky. Electronic bid submission will ONLY be accepted in response to this solicitation IF and ONLY IF the completed solicitation is included as an attachment in its ENTIRETY. Otherwise, all proposals must be faxed or mailed in by the specified date and time. This statement supersedes any other guidance regarding electronic bid submission. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract and is unrestricted. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or contact CCR at 1-888-227-2423. You as a contractor must be utilizing the WIDE AREA WORKFLOW- RECEIPT AND ACCEPTANCE SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH CLAUSE 52.0000-4043 of this solicitation. This is the Government's electronic process for receipt and acceptance documents and Contractor payment.
