- Description
- Financial and Business Solutions Schedule Grants Management Day GSA is hosting an Industry Partnership Day to exchange information on the new Grants Management SIN between current FABS Schedule-holders, vendors interested in getting on the FABS schedule, and the GSA FABS team. This event is scheduled for January 22, 2010 from 8:00 am to Noon. GSA has added Grants Management Support Services (GMSS) to its FABS schedule. Vendors can now offer these services under SIN 520-22: Support and assist federal grants management personnel in all phases of the grants management process including, but not limited to, assessing compliance of grantees’ business and financial management systems, assisting awarding agencies in ensuring grantees’ responsible and accountable use of grant funds, assisting with ensuring that grantees’ performance is in full compliance with grant requirements, assisting government Grants Management Officers, Grant Management Specialists, and other grants management personnel, advising government personnel in managing Grant Financial Management systems, managing the project period of performance schedule, evaluating on-going status reports, final reports, and other deliverable products required under the grant program, and assisting in grant close-out procedures. We will feature a workshop on “How to Submit a Quality Offer” and a brief presentation on how to submit a contract modification to add the new SIN for any interested participants. We would like you to come prepared to discuss the following questions: • Does the FABS SOW adequately cover grants management from beginning to end, excluding work that is inherently governmental? • Has socioeconomic goals been a factor in other government procurements for GMSS? For example, do agencies have a small business preference or require small business subcontracting plans in GMSS acquisitions? • For what agencies have you performed grants management services? • What grant management opportunities have arisen because of ARRA? Come join us at the GSA Building Room L1301 at 2200 Crystal Drive Crystal City, Arlington, VA 22202 Pre-registration is required. Space is limited, so please register early using the following link: http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/eventView.do?viewType=DETAIL&eventId=5600&occurId=2742 Should you have additional questions please contact Patricia Whittaker at 703-605-2840 (patricia.whittaker@gsa.gov).
