Description

The purpose of this amendment is to respond to contractor's question. Question: Regarding solicitation# FA2517-10-T-6020, the NAICS code for the requirement is 423430 which is for small business size of less than 100 employees. However, in the solicitation posted on FedBizOpps, it says the size standard is 500 employees (see the snippet below from solicitation). Please correct the solicitation so that it appropriate reflects the SBA size standard of 100 employees for NAICS code 423430. (iv) This acquisition is procured as full and open competition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 423430, Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers. The size standard is 500 employees and a single award will be made as a result of evaluation of quotes. Response: The Table of Small Business Size Standards, 22 August 2008, located on the U.S. Small Business Administration website under Sector 42, Wholesale Trade, states "the nonmanufacturer size standard of 500 employees shall be used for purposes of Government procurement of supplies."
