- Solicitation W912EK-10-T-0021 for the overhaul of one (1) three cubic yard round nose dredging bucket will soon follow. Scope of Work for Solicitation W912EK-10-T-0021: Rebuild/Overhaul dredge bucket 1.Dissemble and sandblast 2.Replace guide roller pins and bearings 3.Replace upper arm pins and bushings 4.Replace upper sheave pin and bushings 5.Replace lower sheave pin and bushings 6.Inspect all sheave grooves and bores 7.Replace lower arm pins and bushings with Astraloy pins and manganese bushings 8.Replace lower outside wear rings 9.Replace main shaft(s) with Astraloy shaft(s) 10.Replace bowl arm bushings 11.Replace main shaft (center section) bushings with manganese bushings 12.Build up lips 13.Replace keepers and spacers as needed 14.Gouge and weld all cracks 15.Reassemble, clean, test, prime and paint (twice) with anti-corrosion paint (color to be same or similar to original factory coating). * Important Note: UPGRADE main shaft and lower arm pin areas to ASTRALOY PINS and MANGANESE BUSHINGS. Specifications of round nose digging bucket: S/N #:RN-1450 S/O#:51542 MAKE: HAWCO MODEL: RN-300 TYPE: 3 CU. YD. ROUNDNOSE BUCKET WEIGHT: 10,650 lb. +/- 3% CABLE: 1[ Requested completion date: Six to eight weeks after award of contract.
