Description

The Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY has a requirement to perform quarterly, semi-annual and annual quality control testing on existing diagnostic x-ray equipment (including Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, Mammographic, CT, DR, CR readers) to meet the requirements of the NYSDOH, MQSA and ACR-MAP. Requirements also include acceptance testing of new devices and retesting of repaired or adjusted equipment. The contractor is to provide written reports in a timely manner consistent with the importance of any adverse findings. The VA is issuing this solicitation as small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 541380 for Testing Laboratories. The small business size standard is $12.0 million. In order to be considered eligible for award, the contractor must provide a list of key personnel, displaying each individual's education, as well as all applicable certifications and licensures. A complete solicitation package will be posted by Monday, January 18, 2010. The solicitation will include complete details of the tests and inspections that will be required in the contract. All offers must be submitted to the Contracting Officer no later than close of business (4:30PM) on Thursday, February 18th, 2010.
