- Description
- RECOVERY ACT - Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the site prep for the installation of the PET CT at the Omaha Division of the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. Work includes but is not limited to General Construction, HVAC work, Plumbing and Electrical work, and necessary removal of existing structures. All work shall be performed in accordance with specifications and drawings for Renovate Radiology for Positron Electron Transformation (PET) CT Install project number R636-09-404 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, Omaha VAMC, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE, 68105 and all applicable codes and standards. Solicitation Number VA-263-10-RA-0066 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about January 27, 2010. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit is tentatively scheduled to be held during the week of February 8 February 12, 2010 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled to be held on March 5, 2010 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 270 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimate of the total project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
