- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Proposal for a competitive requirement for Waste Disposal/Hazardous Material Management and Emergency Response Services. The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for a one (1) year base period with five (5) year contract period of performance consisting of a basic one (1) year period wit four (4) one-year renewable option periods. This procurement is unrestricted in regard to business size or type. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 562112, Hazardous Waste Collection Services. All interested and capable sources should first attempt to download the attached statement of work and business declaration for review pending the release of Screening Information Request/Request for Offer (SIR/RFO) If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the SOW and Business Declaration must be made in writing to the attention of Kathrine T. Budd, Contract Specialist (AMQ-210), via e-mail at kathrine.budd@faa.gov This announcement is seeking interested parties capable of providing the services outlined in the statement of work and shall not be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
