Description
PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct market research for use in formulating an acquisition strategy for the Marine For Life project. The Marine For Life (MFL) is an organization of the United States Marine Corps, whose mission is to help the approximately 27,000 Marines who leave active duty each year make a successful transition to civilian life. MFL assists Marine Corps veterans in finding employment, pursuing educational opportunities and realizing life goals. M4L is seeking a qualified firm to help establish brand, marketing and advertising programs with national scope. Firms with suitable qualifications should submit responses addressing the following core objectives in terms of their capabilities and experience with customers: a) develop brand, marketing, advertising and publicity strategies and plans; b) develop and produce brand-identity materials including a logo, business cards, stationery and a brand-identity guide; c) dev! elop an online media strategy and plan for a Web site and other online media; d) develop and produce marketing-communication materials including brochures, flyers, posters, multimedia presentations and advertisements; and e) develop and produce online media including a Web site and other online channels, such as social media, e-mail communications, online video, mobile media, blogs and podcasts. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed ten (10) pages, including cover letter, discussion and contact information. Subject response must contain: (1) Capability statement sufficient to demonstrate performance acumen directly related to the objectives stated; (2) Two customer citations describing similar work efforts; (3) Link to the respondent's appropriate GSA Schedules if applicable, or other Government-Wide Acquisition Contract vehicles; and (4) Other material relevant to establishing the core competencies of the firm. Please identify Large/Small Business size status. Response is due by Monday, January 25, 2010, 1200 p.m., EST. Please submit e-mail responses to Bradford L. NOTES: Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation whatsoever on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. The Marine Corps is neither seeking proposals nor accepting unsolicited proposals, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI.
