Description
Pasternack Requirements List This is notice of the Government's intent to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Pasternack Enterprises, 1851 Kettering Street, Irvine, CA 92614; under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for SMA, BNC Connectors, Adapters and Cables. Pasternack provides the connectors, adapters and cables that are manufactured with the desired material and specifications suitable for the Electronics Maintenance Group (EMXG) rigorous test environment and are currently used in the VDATS. Pasternack items are being used during station self test and instrumentation calibration completed by Air Force Metrology and Calibration (AFMETCAL). As a result, Pasternack items need to be used to maintain compatibility, standardization, and commonality of connectors, adapters and cables currently approved to be used by test program sets (TPS) run on a VDATS test station. This shall reduce the chances of incompatibility and reduce future procurement problems with the developed hardware and software with a VDATS test station. These conditions preclude any attempt for full and open competition. The contractor identified is the only known source that can meet all of the requirements. This is not a competitive solicitation and quotes are not being requested. Any other responsible source capable of meeting the requirement may submit technical, delivery, pricing, and past performance data sufficient to determine capability. However, the determination to compete or not to compete this requirement is solely at the discretion of the Government. To be considered, any such documentation must be received NLT 02 February 2009, 12:00PM EST. Only electronic submissions will be accepted and no extensions will be granted.
