Description

RECOVERY: The Green Mountain NF has areas that are managed for wildlife. Some of these areas are permanent wildlife openings. Techniques used to maintain these areas are hand brushing, mowing, burning, and clearing vegetation with masticating type power heads. The objective is to mechanically remove unwanted tree and shrub vegetation in permanent openings at the Forest Services Offices in Rutland, Rochester, Middlebury or Manchester, Vermont. Project Location: Frost Area and Widow’s Clearing sites are located in the town of Ripton, Addison County, VT. West Hill & Corporation Road sites are located in the town of Rochester, Windsor County, VT. Ten Kiln and Pete Parent Peak sites are located in the town of Mt. Tabor, Rutland County, VT. Set-aside determination will be made at time of Solicitation posting. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a contract, HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV/
