- The Department Of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Contracting Office intends to release a commercial solicitation for a one base year plus one option year requirements-type contract for dairy products (Milk and Ice Cream) for the VA Medical Centers in Kansas City Mo., and Eastern Kansas Healthcare System in Leavenworth Ks. and Topeka Ks.The base contract period will begin 1 March 2010. All contract details, to include estimated quantities and a full statement of work will be included in the Request for Quote, which will be released on or about January 25, 2010. Any contractor who wishes to receive a copy of the RFQ may submit a request. An e-mail request must be submitted to the point of contact.
