Description

TAS::14 1035::TAS RECOVERY BISC PMIS #124128 - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILBALE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION 8(a) PROGRAM in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.8 and is limited to 8(a) contractors within the state of Florida. Interested contractors must have an established office within the state. The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Biscayne National Park, located in Homestead, FL, has identified a requirement to replace diesel generators with solar power on Adams Key. The work will involve converting systems for two homes on the island. The work must be in accordance with Miami-Dade or Florida High Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements. The magnitude of the price range is between $250,000.00 - $500,000.00. The anticipated NAICS is 237130 with a size standard of $33.5 million. The solicitation will be available on or about February 4, 2010, and can be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. Solicitations can only be obtained through this electronic method. Instructions on how to navigate the FBO website can be located on the website. Inquiries to the Contracting Office regarding the use and navigation of the FBO should not be made. Proposals will be due on or about Monday, March 8, 2010. Additional information about a site visit and the proposal submission requirements will be provided in the solicitation documents. This project is being procured pursuant to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and all ARRA clauses will be applicable. If award is made, the awardee is subject to reporting requirements in accordance with ARRA and FAR 52.204-11.
