Description
NAICS Code: 421210 Procurement Office : U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Headquarters Procurement Operations Division, (3803R) Response Date: January 22, 2010, 4:00 PM EDT This is a sources sought notice for written information only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or reimburse the costs incurred by potential offerors in providing the information requested herein. In preparation for an upcoming procurement, The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Facilities Management and Security Division (FMSD) is conducting market research to determine potential sources for services to provide furniture purchase and installation services. Detailed information on the requirement is provided via a draft copy of the Statement of Work (SOW) which is posted on the EPA OAM website at http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/admin_placement/10tf001/index.htm The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423210 and has a small business size standard of 100 employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. This is a request for interested potential offerors to submit a brief capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the requirements in the draft Statement of Work (SOW). Capability Statements shall be limited to no more than ten (10) pages. Standard brochures and paraphrasing of the SOW will not be considered a sufficient response to this notice. EPA is interested in capability statements from any businesses on the GSA Schedule who qualify under the NAICS code stated above. Submitted capability statements should include the following: (1) Name of vendor; (2) Contact information (address, telephone, facsimile, e-mail); and (3) Technical description of capabilities in meeting the requirement. Capability statements are requested only from vendors currently on the GSA Schedules. Vendors must provide proof that they are on the schedule, along with the Schedule Number and date of contract expiration. Businesses should submit an electronic copy of the requested information to Trina Fisher, Contract Specialist, at fisher.trina@epa.gov by 4:00 pm EST January 22, 2010. No feedback will be provided regarding individual capabilities statements. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and/or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls and/or requests for a solicitation will be accepted or acknowledged.
