Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Mike Dupuy Hawk Food in Middleburg, PA for the purchadse of 12,000small chicks per month for feeding colonies of owls and falcons to be delivered to Laurel, Md beginning at time of award. There are no option periods. Mike Dupuy Hawk Food is the only known source for this requirement that provides the food for raptors that is appropriate to the needs of the birds: the proper size and freshness of the food with packaging that allows proper shipment and storage for the large amounts of food needed. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. However, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: mfritts@usgs.gov.
