- The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is a Primary Level Field Activity and Inventory Control Point (ICP) of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Department of Defense (DOD). DSCP is seeking prospective vendors for the proposed acquisition of AM2 Pallet and Mat Assembly F-44 Configuration. The assembly is a medium-duty, aluminum landing mat capable of supporting both fighter and cargo aircraft operations and is used for expedient airfield construction. The aluminum matting used for this assembly consists of 16 2x12 foot panels, 4 2x6 foot panels, 2 end frames, and 20 locking bars. Total coverage of assembly is 432 square feet. Pallet weight is approximately 2750 lbs, cube 76.76 cubic feet. DSCP intends to solicit for an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IQC) for the acquisition of the AM2 pallet and mat assembly. The acquisition will have a two year base and three one-year option periods. The annual estimated quantity (AEQ) is 1,936 each. Based on available data the estimated value of this acquisition is $105,815,175.00. The AM2 assembly is fully competitive but is very specialized in nature that only one manufacturer Alfab, Inc., Enterprise, AL has ever made the assembly. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis and is fully competitive. The Government will not pay for information solicited in this sources sought announcement.
