The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside requirement to renovate the North Fort Ranges 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, and 113 on Fort Lewis, Washington. Renovation shall include, but is not limited to, the reconstruction of partition walls, the repair of impact berms, grading and leveling surface areas, repairing target/zero walls, repairing firing lines, replacing range limit fire markers, repair/replace canopies, repairing roads, new bleachers, new latrines, new signs, and new flagpoles. Magnitude of Construction for this requirement is in the range of $1M to $5M range, and the completion period is estimated at 210 calendar days. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 237310 with a small business size standard of $33.5 Million. As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside, the solicitation for this requirement will be open to all eligible SDVOSB concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its average annual gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $33.5 Million. This requirement will be a negotiated acquisition and will be procured using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process as outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. The solicitation for this requirement will be in the form of a Request for Proposals (RFP), and a firm-fixed-price contract will be negotiated as a result of this procurement. The solicitation documents for this requirement will be issued in electronic format only and will be made available online on or about 12 February 2010 via the FedBizOpps.gov website (https://www.fbo.gov/) under the solicitation number W912DW-10-R-0032.
