Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested for the required items and no written solicitation will be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38 11 January 2010. This is a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS 451140 Musical Instrument and Supplies Stores with a size standard of 500 employees. All items shall be FOB Destination to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. requires the following items: 0001: 2x12 in guitar combo amplifier, two foot-switchable channels with independent, three-band EQ and volume, foot-switchable gain/volume boost on the lead channel, global resonance, presence and reverb controls, buffered effects loop, dual speaker jacks in parallel, variable Class A-A/B control, preamp and power sections powered by 6L6GC and 12AX7 tubes. Peavey Valve King 212 or equal. 0002: Guitar amp half stack, 150 watt RMS output, 4 ohm impedance, tube, four foot-switchable channels, acoustic simulator channel, two separate foot-switchable 16 program digital effects sections, headphone jack, included footswitch, closed-back cabinets with four 12-inch Celestion extended-bass speakers. Shure SM58 or equal. This acquisition is a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with FAR 52.211-6. Manufacturer Systems part nubmers are offered as an example only. Vendors must quote the brand name or the equivalent of the brand name to be considered for award. To be considered for award offerors of equal products must meet all of the salient characteristics listed above. Vendors must clearly identify the offered item by brand name, make or model number, provide descriptive literature such as illustrations; specification sheets that clearly demonstrate that the offered item meets the salient characteristics listed above. Vendors must clearly describe any and all modifications to the offered item that will make it conform to the salient characteristics listed above. The contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of the information provided by offerors. Unless the offeror clearly indicates in its quote that the item being offered is an equal product the offeror shall provide the brand name item specified in this solicitation.
