- Solicitation Number: W912GB-10-R-0025 SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS for: IDIQ Job Order Contract for Turkey This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. Following FAR 15.201(c)(3), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District has been tasked to solicit for and award an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Job Order Contract (JOC) type contract and is seeking information from contractors who can provide all management services, supervision, personnel, labor, materials, facilities, transportation, and equipment required to perform used to acquire real property repair, maintenance, minor construction, and/or asbestos abatement. The orders will primarily address general building renovation, road and pavement repair, and general environmental work. This work includes, but is not limited to, incidental new minor construction, excavation, plumbing, demolition, electrical, structural, mechanical, concrete work, and environmental remedial work. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential contractor community. The Federal Supply Code is Z299; the NAICS code is 238990. We would like to know the following: 1) Can you provide the work as required above? 2) Do you have ideas on how the work should be priced? 3) Any other issues or concerns? Open for response/feedback. Description of IDIQ Turkey JOC: PERFORMANCE PERIOD: A base period of one (1) year and two (2), one (1) year option periods for a maximum period of three (3) years or until the capacity of US$9,000,000.00 is reached. MAXIMUM CONTRACT VALUE: It is anticipated $3,000,000 annually for a base period and each option period, not-to-exceed $9,000,000 for the entire life of the contract. MINIMUM GUARANTEE: The minimum guarantee amount is $10,000 for the base period. Compensation for the base contract includes compensation for the Governments right to extend the term of the contract under the contract options. TASK ORDER LIMITATIONS: The minimum task order is $2,000 and the maximum task order is $1,000,000 but can be exceeded if the project is determined to be within the scope of this contract by the Contracting Officer. NOTIFICATION: All Contractors working for the U.S. Government in Turkey must be able to obtain access to the base locations from the Turkish Government. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about 17 February 2010, and the estimated proposal due date will be on or about 17 March 2010. The official Synopsis citing the solicitation number, and inviting Offerors to register electronically to receive a copy of the solicitation when it is issued is anticipated to be available on or about 2 February 2010. Interested Offerors shall respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis no later than 09:00 AM (CET) 1 February 2010.
