Description
This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about January 29, 2010. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work of this contract consists of supplying road striping paint in 55 gallon drums and glass beads (commercially packaged). The Contractor shall provide the price FOB Destination. The delivery point is 2282 SW Resource Blvd, Moab UT 84532. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm fixed-price contract with only one contractor. Performance period of 30 days after receipt of award is required. This solicitation is set aside for Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 424950 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. It is mandatory that all contractors register in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) prior to award. Responses from offerors will be accepted at the address listed in the solicitation in hard copy (you must respond in hard copy) until the due date and time specified in the Solicitation, with the manual signature of the authorized company official. Facsimile offers will not be accepted. Mailing address for proposals is Bill Spigel, Contracting Officer, 2282 SW Resource Blvd., Moab, UT 84532. The technical point of contact for this solicitation is John Lewis 435-719-2152. Questions must be in writing and sent to bill_spigel@nps.gov. The solicitation is a Request for Quote. Evaluation Criteria: Selection will be based on price and non-price factors and award will be made to the offeror presenting the Best Value to the Government. The Government will not accept an offer for award on the basis of superior capability without concern for the price of the offer. Factors are listed below and are considered equal in importance. Evaluation Criteria: 1. Past Performance: A measure of the degree to which an offeror has satisfied its customers in the past on projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. Past Performance is demonstrated by the ability to deliver quality, cost effective product in a timely manner. Evaluation Criteria: 2.
