The AMA database search feature is incorporated within the Modern Awards Processing-Development (MAP-D) application, which is a component of VETSNET. Each user of MAP-D (claims developer) has the ability ("license") to use the AMA database search. This service assists the VBA claims examiners at the nationwide regional offices who process veterans' claims for compensation and pension assistance in disability and compensation eligibility. The purpose of the contract is to provide continued access of the AMA credentialing products. This market research is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach.
