- RECOVERY - Smith, Brush & Sinclair Lake Dock Replacements: This project is for the construction of three fishing/swimming/boat dock systems on three separate lakes within the Bonners Ferry Ranger District on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Boundary County, Idaho. Smith Lake Docks: This site includes removing an existing fishing dock and treated timber crib abutment and replacing it with a new precast concrete abutment, gangway and floating fishing dock system. Smith Lake site expansion also includes construction of an additional precast concrete abutment, gangway and floating boat dock system. The work includes but is not limited to erosion control measures, removing and disposing of existing treated timber crib abutment and floating fishing docks, furnishing and installing precast concrete anchor cell abutments, furnishing and installing a treated timber & composite abutment superstructure, furnishing and installing gangway, furnishing and installing floatable steel truss fishing dock system, furnishing and installing floatable steel truss boat dock system, Contractor quality control (CQC) and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Brush Lake Docks: This site includes removing an existing fishing dock and replacing it with a new precast concrete abutment, gangway and floating fishing dock system. The work includes but is not limited to erosion control measures, removing and disposing of existing floating fishing docks, furnishing and installing precast concrete anchor cell abutment, furnishing and installing a treated timber & composite abutment superstructure, furnishing and installing gangway, furnishing and installing floatable steel truss fishing dock system, access trail and treated timber stairway construction, furnish and install gabion baskets, crushed aggregate trail access surfacing, Contractor quality control (CQC) and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Sinclair Lake Docks: This site includes removing an existing fishing/swimming dock and replacing it with a new precast concrete abutment, gangway and floating fishing/swimming dock system. The work includes but is not limited to erosion control measures, removing and disposing of existing floating fishing/swimming docks, removal of wood pile, furnishing and installing precast concrete anchor cell abutment, furnishing and installing a treated timber & composite abutment superstructure, furnishing and installing gangway, furnishing and installing floatable steel truss fishing/swimming dock system, hauling and placing crushed aggregate parking lot surfacing, Contractor quality control (CQC) and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. NOTE: THE DUE DATE HERE IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THE OFFICIAL DUE DATE FOR BIDS WILL BE LISTED IN THE SOLICITATION WHICH SHOULD BE RELEASED APPROXIMATELY FEBRUARY 10, 2010.

- Address: Smith Lake Docks: Smith Lake can be reached by heading north out of Bonners Ferry on Highway 95. Continue North on 95 for 2 miles beyond the Highway 2 junction (Three Mile Corner) to the intersection with the Smith Lake Road. Turn Right (East) onto the Smith Lake Road and continue East and North for 1.5 miles to the next junction. Stay right (East) on the Smith Lake Road and continue for 1 mile to the Smith Lake Campground and Boat Launch. The boat launch and dock are down on the left (East)., Brush Lake Docks: Brush Lake can be reached by heading north out of Bonners Ferry on Highway 95 for approximately 17 miles. Turn right (Southeast) onto FDR (Forest Development Road) No. 1004, there is a small sign on highway 95 that says “Brush Lake”. Continue straight on FDR No. 1004 at the junction with FDR No. 397. Continue straight at the next junction with FDR No. 1004A. Stay left at the final junction with the campground road and continue to the dock and boat launch at the end of the road., Sinclair Lake Docks: Sinclair Lake can be reached by heading North out of Bonners Ferry on Highway 95 for Approximately 24 miles to the Junction with the Moyie River Road at Good Grief, Idaho. Turn right (south) onto the Moyie River Road and head south for 1.5 miles. Sinclair Lake is on the right (West) just before the railroad tracks., BONNERS FERRY, Idaho, 83814, United States
