- Questions and Answers: 1. I printed the maps of the area but it doesn't have a scale. The Project location map is not to scale it is meant to provide location of sites in relation to the road system. 2. I need to know how far apart the tanks are? Tanks are located within the San Bernardino National Forest. Distance between the two farthest sites is 95 miles (Mormon Rocks Station to Keenwild Station). The reminder of the sites within that distance. 3. How much sediment is expected? Half inch to one inch. 4. How much water can be pumped into the tanks per minute? This question is very important if the walls are covered in sediment. If you can't pump at least 150 gallons per minute into your tanks you will run out of water before we can clean all the walls. Most of these sites are low flow systems and they vary from 5-40 gal. per minute.
