Description

The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 541330. The Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to modify contract N63394-06-D-1169 to increase the ceiling by $3,989,013.00. The ceiling increase will provide an additional 4,385 direct labor hours for continued Engineering Design/Development, Field Service, Depot Support and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for the MK-84 Solid State Frequency Converter, Air Cooled Solid State Frequency Converter (ACSSFC), MK 205 Split-Bus Controller (SBC), Fault Isolation Unit (FIU), Maintenance Switch Box (MSB) and Auxiliary Equipment. The contractor is L3 Communications, PSG and is the Design Agent for the 400Hz system since the introduction to the U.S. Navy and still maintains the manufacturing and production capabilities necessary to support the MK 84 Solid State Frequency Converter, ACSSFC, MK 205 SBC, FIU and MSB. This modification will provide continued services through Option Year Four period of performance ending 15 Oct 2010 and allow sufficient time to award the sole source follow-on contract currently in process. The anticipated date for the modification is 12 February 2010. Notes 22 and 26 apply.
