- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. Solicitation W912PQ-10-T-0014 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. This acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110 with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The Yellow Ribbon workshop provides a two day weekend workshop away from the home station for military members and their families to provide useful information and guidance from various sponsors to reunite the airmen with their families and to help get answers to frequently asked questions airmen and family members have concerning return from active duty to M-Day status. Conference rooms, lodging, and meals will need to be provided. Please see attached Solicitation for complete details. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price and Technical Acceptability (Contractor's proposal meets the required accommodations, services, etc.) Award will be made IAW FAR 13.106. Proposals are due no later than 4:00 P.M Eastern, 10 February 2010. If there are any questions regarding this requirement, please contact Mr. Kevin Fenner by email: kevin.fenner@ang.af.mil. All interested offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made. To register with CCR, log on to https://www.bpn.gov. If the offeror does not become registered in the CCR database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer (NLT due date/time of solicitation), the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror.
