- The U.S Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to DIMITRIY ALEXEIEV in Moscow, Russia for services to compile a series of tectonic/geodynamic maps and basement terrane maps of Central and Eastern Eurasia and West Pacific Region to define geological constraints for dileanating prospective tracts in global mineral assessment for projects in those regions. He will also characterize basement terranes and arc systems within above regions and outline tectonic history of the region in terms of collisional and accretionary tectonics. He will also delineate permissive tracts for Cu-porphyry deposits in above region jointly with the USGS GMRAP team, based on maps prepared under this contract, and provide data initially in both CorelDraw and ArcGIS format. These are to be delievered to Reston, VA by 09/30/2010. There are no option periods. Dr. Dimitriy Alexeiev is the only known source for this requirement because the work will be based on unpublished terrane maps proprietary to Dr. Alexeiev. He is the only source of the unpublished data and maps also able to translate them from Russian to English. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
