Description

Recovery The work of this contract is located at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historic Park, Point of Rocks Boat Ramp, Frederick, Maryland. The work of this contract includes providing all parts, materials, labor, and supervision necessary for the Rehabilitation of the Boat Ramp at Point of Rocks. This includes but is not limited to placement of sediment and erosion control measures, demolition and removal of existing boat ramps, construction of new boat ramp, placement of fill material along ramp and access road, rip rap, shoreline protection, and landward work. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237990 with a small business size standard of $33.5 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. A small business concern is defined as a concern (including all of its subsidiaries) having less than or equal to $33.5 million annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. (Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.10) Accordingly, it is open to all small and large responsible offerors. However, a HUBZone small business price evaluation factor may apply. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 2/10/2010 TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. No hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation.
