Delivery shall be 30 calendar days after receipt of task order. Delivery shall be F.O.B. destination to one of the following addresses: U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000 or USCG Transformation Warehouse, 1873 W. Ehringhaus Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909. The Government reserves the right to direct deliver any part to any U.S. Coast Guard Unit within the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico or other U.S. Territories. Shipping charges shall be negotiated at the time task orders are placed. The contractor will be required to submit a signed delivery ticket as proof of delivery. A Blanket Purchase Agreement with one (1) base year and two (2) option years is anticipated. It is the Government's belief that only Eaton Corporation the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or their authorized distributors possess the required capabilities to manufacture the parts that are compatible and interchangeable with the various small boat classes. All reproduction manufacturing drawings, specifications and other technical data pertaining to the various parts are not available within the government and are proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Eaton Corporation. The responses must include documentation demonstrating that the supplier can provide the required spare parts. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 10 days from date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional characteristics, or 2) Data that offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer. No cost or pricing data is required. Submission of this information for review shall not impede award of this BPA as planned. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. Information received after the established deadline shall not be considered. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Request for Quotation Number HSCG40-10-Q-50030 shall be available for download on or about February 11, 2010. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which, if timely received shall be considered by this agency.
