Description
Draft Agenda REGISTRATION RE-OPENED Financial Services Industry Information The Department of the Treasury is hosting a Financial Services Industry Day in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Registration Information: Registrations were accepted on a first come, first served basis from the first 85 vendors that submitted a complete registration request to FSACQ@do.treas.gov. As a result of the overwhelming response, Treasury was able to acquire additional space. We can now accommodate an additional 15 firms with a maximum of two attendees each. This is in addition to the original 85 firms and the requestors placed on our waiting list. If you wish to attend, the additional 30 slots (up to15 firms with two participants per firm) will be filled on a first come, first served basis, up through February 5, 2010, or until all slots have been filled. The following information is required when submitting a complete registration request: 1. vendor's name; 2. names of participants - up to two attendees per vendor is allowed. 3. email address where you wish to receive registration confirmation; 4. phone number; and, 5. the vendor's business size (e.g. small business; large business) Please indicate "Financial Services - Industry Day Registration" in the subject line when submitting a complete registration request to FSACQ@do.treas.gov. If you are one of the first to submit a complete registration request, you will be notified as soon as possible. Again, please note that participation is limited to two (2) individuals per vendor. Substitutions for the names submitted during the registration process can be made up to five (5) business days prior to the event (February 10, 2010). Event Location: The event will be held at the JW Marriott, located at 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. Event Agenda: A tentative agenda will be posted on FedBizOps. The event will feature the following sessions: 1. overview of requirements and key contract terms; 2. time for questions and answers; 3. oral presentations to encourage small business partnering arrangements; and, 4. an afternoon networking session. All slots are filled for the Oral Presentation session and for the Networking Booths; however, you may bring additional marketing materials for distribution. Question and Answer Session: We are requesting questions in advance. By February 5, 2010, please submit your question(s) for the Industry Day question and answer session. If you wish to have a question addressed at Industry Day, please submit it to FSACQ@do.treas.gov and in the subject line state "Industry Day Question Submission." Please include the question in the body of your reply. Depending on the time and the number of questions submitted, we may not have the opportunity to answer all questions submitted in advance and/or questions posed at Industry Day. All questions, including those answered on the day of the event, whether submitted in advance or at the event, will be recorded, and answers will be posted on FedBizOps as soon as possible following the event. PLEASE BE REMINDED that 1) a maximum of two individuals per vendor may attend the event (even if a vendor is making a presentation or hosting a booth); 2) vendors must register in advance for attendance; and, 3) vendors must receive confirmation of acceptance of their registration request in order to attend the Financial Services Industry Day. Due to space limitations, unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate more than 30 additional participants, (15 firms with two participants per vendor), and non registered individuals are not authorized to attend the event.
