Description
NOT a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The John D. Dingell Medical Center, Detroit, MI is conducting a market survey for qualified small businesses (including Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) capable of providing the required construction services outlined below for the John D. Dingell VAMC Applicable NAICS code is 236220 size standard $33.5 million. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than February 8, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: Contractor shall furnish labor and materials and perform work for the Clinical Informatics Renovation Project on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center as required by drawings and specifications, project # 553-10-102. Furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment and perform all work to complete the "Clinical Informatics Renovation" as detailed on the contract drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to general construction, demolition, electrical, HVAC, alterations and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items as indicated on the contract drawings. Perform all work without disruption to Medical Center operations. Normal administrative hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday COMPLETION TIME: 90-calender days from Notice to Proceed. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than February 8, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category (Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this sources sought announcement.
