- NOT a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, Ann Arbor, MI is conducting a market survey for qualified small businesses (including Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) capable of providing the required construction services outlined below for the Ann Arbor VA hospital located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Applicable NAICS code is 236220 size standard $33.5 million. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than February, 8 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: Work includes removal of roof units (including removal of piping, ducts, conduit, and electrical wire back to the source) off-site as indicated on the drawings, as well as, the repair of the roof to match existing as required. Contractor is responsible for removing all abandoned units and associated utilities on the 10th Floor penthouse (located in Bldg. 1W), as well as, the water tank and associated piping on the 11th Floor penthouse (located in Bldg. 1W) according to plans and specifications. Contractor to remove abandoned piping ducts down the faade of the building and back to the source, contractor to tuck point brick and fire stop where necessary. Performance period: 120 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than February, 8 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category (Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this sources sought announcement.
