- The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA has a requirement to establish a firm-fixed price contract to provide for 4,440 beams, 8,880 cross-ties, and installation services. The components must be compatible with the existing rack systems (Interack 30). The expansion will add an additional 2,220 pallet rack levels to the existing system, resulting in 4,440 new storage locations. Products must meet UFC 3-310 Seismic requirements and ANSI MH 16.1 standards. Total project time is not to exceed 120 days. All work shall be performed at the Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin Sharpe site. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332313. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 – Acquisition for Commercial items in conjunction with 13.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) – Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. To receive awards, your company must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http:// www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed price contract as a result of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) to the responsible offeror. It is anticipated that RFQ SP330010Q0055 will be posted to this site on or around 12 February 2010. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this site. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued under this RFQ. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments. Amendments may be issued up until the quote due date. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your quote ineligible for award.
