Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Joint Munitions & Lethality (JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the U.S. Army Armament Research Development Command (ARDEC), Benet Laboratories, located at Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York, is conducting a market survey to identify potential small business sources who can provide technical support services to Benet Laboratories. Benet Laboratories is an Army RDT&E facility that is recognized world-wide as a Center of Excellence for gun design, structural and dynamic analysis, application of advanced materials and composites, and laboratory simulations ranging from gun firing phenomena to static and dynamic load testing (up to 5 million lb), as well as environmental testing. A full complement of modern laboratory equipment, along with a highly trained staff of scientists, engineers, and technicians, enables Benet to be a world leader in innovative technology and applications.This contract, which will be a small business set aside Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, is to provide support services in the areas of: Identification of potential new opportunitiesIdentify new/emerging companiesMonitoring, guiding and managing programmatic effortsDesign and implementation plans for execution of programs Performance of RED TEAM and other analysesDeveloping and implementing strategy and policy Interested parties who feel that they are capable of performing these types of services are invited to indicate their interest by providing a white paper not to exceed five pages describing their capabilities, within two weeks of the date of this notice via email to the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center, Picatinny, NJ 07806, Attention: Travis Clemons, Bldg. 40, Benet Laboratories at Watervliet Arsenal, New York 12189. Email: travis.clemons@us.army.mil. Put the Solicitation number in the subject line of your email. In addition, please provide the companys name, address, point of contact with telephone number, email address, and size of business (small/large). The Government will only accept written technical questions by email. Please be advised that this is a market survey for information only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the US Government. The US Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. Any costs incurred in connection with this market survey will not be paid for by the government. In addition, the Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this Market Survey. Offerors will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted.
