Description

This is an announcement directing interested parties to the Department of Interior's Business Opportunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov where details of a US Geological Survey Request For Quotation (RFQ) 10HQQQ0038 may be viewed. This RFQ constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested for labor, material, and equipment for construction for area 2P107 at the USGS in Reston, VA. The posted RFQ contains a description of the construction requirements, Statement of Work, Davis Bacon Wage determination, and applicable clauses. All vendors who can meet this requirement, have a valid Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS) and are registered in CCR are invited to submit electronic quotes for this posted RFQ. THIS ACQUISITION WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION THRESHOLD OF $100,000.00. SIC code for this acquisition is 1542. Quotes are due via email to: jenglehart@usgs.gov no later than 2:00 PM EST, Wednesday, February 17, 2010. There will be a site visit for all interested bidders to view the facility on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM EST, in Reston, VA, in OAG Conference room 6A330. Availability of specifications, plans, drawings, or other technical data. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. These contract documents may be obtained at the site visit.
