- Description: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION, GSA FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE 66 - Scientific Equipment and Services The National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD intends to procure a 7500 Real-Time PCR system based on the following specifications: 96-well block format compatibility, plates and 0.2 mL tubes; 20-100 µL; standard mode ± 1.6°C/sec; 9600 Emulation Mode +0.8 and -1.6°C/sec; temperature range 4°C-100°C; temperature accuracy ±0.25°C (35°C to 95°C) of setpoint/display temperature, measure at 3 minutes after clock start; optical system that includes tungsten-halogen lamp excitation source, five-excitation filters, five-emission filters and CCD camera; calibrated dyes at installation; ROX or any calibrated dye within the wavelength range; data collection for all 5 filters for all wells regardless of plate setup; 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz; primer express software; dynamic range of 9 logs; Real-Time PCR loading of four-five 96-well plates per 8hr/day; one year warranty parts, labor and service, Onsite training. This procurement will be firm-fixed price and will be competed under pre-existing Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule contracts. A competitive solicitation (RFQ) will be issued via GSA eBuy. This will be funded in whole by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
