Description

The anticipated contract is for Performance Based Logistics of seventeen (17) General Electric engine components. The items are as follows: (1) COMBUSTION CHAMBER CASE, 2840 01-537-7437; (2) ROTOR, FAN, 2840 01-487-3497; (3) CASE AND VANE ASSEMBLY, 2840 01-487-3498; (4) FRAME, FRONT, 2840 01-487-3530; (5) FRAME, COMPRESSOR, 2840 01-443-5980; (6) OUTER BYPASS DUCT, 2840 01-443-4129; (7) CASE, COMBUSTION, 2840 01-491-3251; (8) ROTOR, COMPRESSOR, 2840 01-487-3502; (9) CASE AND VANE ASSEMBLY, 2840 01-564-8248, (10) 2840 ROTOR, TURBINE, 2840 01-487-3454; (11) LPT ROTOR ASSY, 2840 01-443-2713, (12) SUPPORT, TURBINE, 2840 01-572-8827, (13) NOZZLE ASSEMBLY, TURBINE, 2840 01-487-3480, (14) SUPPORT, TURBINE, 2840 01-487-3534, (15) FRAME, EXHAUST, 2840 01-477-9948, (16) HPT NOZZLE SUPPORT, 2840 01-443-1694, and (17) NOZZLE ASSEMBLY, TURBINE, 01-532-5151. The awardee shall be responsible for repair of these seventeen (17) components and management of a pool of assets to satisfy Depot requirements at a minimum requisition fill rate of 85% first pass, and be capable of manufacturing or supplying the piece parts necessary for repair. These seventeen (17) components are coded sole-source to General Electric. Prospective offerors must submit a source approval request to become an approved Navy source of supply. Neither drawings nor repair specifications are available.
