- Description
- The National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD has a requirement to provide one Nucliacid Extractor System to include the following features and specifications: 1)Phyical Specifications and Deminensions: 1)Must be capable of Analyzing influenza clinical samples with run sizes of 1-24 samples per run; 2)Capable of analyzing sample types and validating plasma, serum, whole blood, CSF, urine, stool and respiratory with sample input volume ranges from 10 to 1000 microliters and output volume ranges from 25 to 110 microliters, with selectable in 5 ul increments; 3)Must included a Barcode reader with traceability; 4)Assay turnaround time: between 40 and 60 minutes for 24 extractions (depending on workflow); 5)Parallel processing of various sample types and volumes; 6)Parallel processing of primary and pre-lysed samples; 7)Must included selection of specific elution volumes for individual samples within the same run; 8)Must be able to extract 24 specimen in one hour; 9)Dimensions (with monitor & keyboard): Height: 21 in. (53 cm), Width: 59 in. (150 cm), Depth: 26 in. (66 cm); Weight: Dry instrument including monitor and keyboard-approximately 282 lb (128 kg). Computer- 18 lb (8 kg). Instrument Clearance Requirements: Minimum of 9 in (23 cm) above the instrument to allow access to reagent chamber. not servicing large power consuming devices including, but not limited to, centrifuges, air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, or any devices that radiate electrical noises). Note: It is recommended that each Nucliacid Extractor instrument and computer module be connected to emergency power circuits, however, a dedicated UPS is not required. This procurement will be firm-fixed price and will be competed under pre-existing Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule contracts. A competitive solicitation (RFQ) will be issued via GSA eBuy. This will be funded in whole by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
