- RECOVERY ACT PROCUREMENT. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, THIS IS NOT AN OPEN OPPORTUNITY. The project will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The proposed procurement is being made under an Architect-Engineer (A-E) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Supplemental Contract for the primary geographic area of GSA Region 4 (GS-04P-06-EX-D-0027). The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541330 (Engineering Services) and the size standard is $4.5M. The estimated range of this project will be between $25,000 and $100,000. ONLY THE FOLLOWING LISTED CONTRACTOR IS PERMITTED TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS FOR THIS CONTRACT : c Design Inc., 1000 West Morehead Street, Suite 170, Charlotte, NC 28801. THERE MAY BE SUBCONSULTING OPPORTUNITIES. ANY INTERESTED PARTIES MUST CONTACT C DESIGN INC. DIRECTLY. The scope of this work is for Feasibility Study for an ARRA Photovoltaic Project., at the Strom Thurmond Federal Building and Courthouse. This project is to study options, and make recommendations for a proposed photovoltaic system at the Strom Thurmond Federal Building & Courthouse in Columbia, SC. The complex consists of 15 above grade floors and one below grade in the federal building and two above grade floors and one below grade in the courthouse. This project is initiated to use solar energy (renewable energy) to generate power and reduce dependency on grid power. This statement of work pertains to the “study” portion of the project. A study is needed to determine the viability of the project and to develop requirements package to solicit for the services of a turnkey firm for project implementation.
