- This announcement constitutes a Request for Information (RFI). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The information requested will be used within United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Please note that USTRANSCOM will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. General Description: USTRANSCOM is conducting market research to determine the feasibility of a company or companies providing source code analysis. Source code analysis would consist of a review of USTRANSCOM transportation systems source code with the intended purpose of identifying security vulnerabilities (cross-site scripting, injection flaws, malicious file execution, etc.); assessment of the quality of the code, based on industry best practices; and recommendations to correct identified deficiencies. Additional details are provided in the attached Source Code Analysis Requirements Description document. Information Requested: Parties interested in assisting USTRANSCOM with this market research are requested to submit the following information in the format of a White Paper as outlined below. The White Paper should be concise (no more than 5 pages) and address only the information requested below. Again, this information will support market research activities within USTRANSCOM. I.Company Information (General). II.Capabilities (General): Generally describe your company’s ability/interest in fulfilling USTRANSCOM’s source code analysis requirements. The capabilities statement should include a description of source code analysis methodology (manual/automated/hybrid), identification of supporting tools, and prior experience with this type activity. This statement should cover all areas outlined in the Source Code Analysis Requirements Description document. III.Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate. IV.Business Size: The SBA small business size standard for NAICS code 541519, Other Computer Related Services, is $25.0 million. V.Any Other Information Deemed Useful to USTRANSCOM.
