- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY-WAGNER GAP MEADOW RESTORATION, MEDFORD, OR The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0260 on or after FEBRUARY 22, 2010, for the WAGNER GAP MEADOW RESTORATION. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after February 22, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for Wagner Gap Meadow Restoration. This project consists of providing all labor, materials equipment, supplies, supervision, and incidentals necessary for the construction and installation of boulders, barriers, amd fencing to restrain vehicles from leaving the forest road system. This project includes meadow restoration work in the Wagner Meadow adjacent to the roadway. Work includes but is not limited to furnishings and installation of fencing, delineators and boulders, construction of earth and log barriers, placement of barrier logs and furnished gate, roadway decommissioning, and cuting and piling of small trees. The contractor shall supply all services, labor, equipment and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property needed to perform the following this contract in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. The magnitude of construction for this acquisition is between $25,000 and $50,000. The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. Start work on this project will be 1 July 2010 with 30 calendar days for completion. PARTICIPATION. This project is 100% Full and Open competition. This work is in Jackson County which is not a HUBZONE county. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237310. The size standard is $33.5 Million. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Contractors are a required to be certified by the Small Business Administration, registered with the Central Contract Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications and Davis Bacon Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov.
