Description
This notice is for informational purposes only. This not a sources sought notice, nor request for competitive proposals. No public competitive acquisition package is available with regard to this notice. The government does not intend to either accept or review alternate proposals from vendors that fall outside of the below listed established contracts. Additionally, the Government is not requesting subcontractor proposals in response to this notice. This procurement is available only to those contractors listed on established Department of the Interior Design-Build, Construction, and Construction Services Multiple Award Task Order Construction (MATOC) Contracts #98210AD002, 98210AD004, and 98210AD006. Design services that are applicable to the Brooks Act are not inclusive of this procurement. The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2-Southwest, is preparing to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) 20181AR508 on or about February 8, 2010 for instalaltion of approximately 69,361 Linear Feet of Barb Wire Fencing at the McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge. Fencing along the identified route within the statement of work is required immediately due to the ever increasing problem of wandering grazing cattle, encroachments into the refuge from surrounding landowner cattle and horse herds that graze nearby, and to control widlife populations that are being killed or injured along a semi-remote roadway. This project will clearly dileniate the south and southeastern refuge boundary line along Texas Route 87 in Sabine Pass Texas. The estimated time of completion for this project is approximately 30 calendar days, pending award. Performance period is estimated to being March 1, 2010.
