Description

Description: THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. ***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is February 18, 2010.*** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. Project areas are located in Lincoln, Lane, Douglas and Coos Counties on the Siuslaw National Forest. The Government’s Estimate is between $ 25,000 to $ 100,000. This proposed procurement listed herein is Unrestricted Competition per FAR 19.10 The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Estimated start work date is MARCH 29, 2010. Locations: A.Driftwood II Campground Driftwood II Campground is located in the Siltcoos Recreation Area. From Florence, OR, travel South on Highway 101 for approximately 10 miles; turn West into the Siltcoos Recreation Area; proceed approximately 2 miles to Driftwood II Campground; the restroom/shower building is located on the right hand side of the road. B. Oregon Dunes Day Use Area The Oregon Dunes Day Use Area is located approximately 12 miles South of Florence, OR on the West side of Highway 101. The restroom building is located adjacent to the parking area. C. Spinreel Campground Spinreel Campground is located approximately 13 miles South of Florence, OR on the West side of Highway 101; turn at the sign for Spinreel Campground; travel approximately 1 mile on Spinreel Road then turn left into the campground; the restroom building is located in the second loop on the right. D. Horsfall Campground Restroom From I-5 South merge onto OR-38/OR-99/Umpqua Hwy. via Exit 162 toward Drain/Elkton. Proceed for 6.6 miles, then turn right onto West B Ave./OR-38/OR-99/Umpqua Hwy. Continue to follow OR-38/Umpqua Hwy. for 50.1 miles. From OR-38 turn left onto Hwy 101 South. Continue on Hwy 101 for 20.7 miles, then turn right on Trans Pacific Lane. Continue for 1.0 mile, turn slight right onto Horsfall Rd. Continue 0.2 miles, then turn right into Horsfall Campground. The restroom/shower building is on the right hand side of the one-way loop. E. Cape Perpetua Visitor Center The Visitor Center is located approximately 10 miles south of Waldport, OR along Highway 101. Turn east at the sign for Cape Perpetua Visitor Center; the Visitor Center and Restroom will both be on the left hand side of the road.
