- Items Listing Brand name J&A This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a brand name request for quote (RFQ) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (c); Approved Justification and Approval (J&A) is attached. This requirement is being issued as 100% full and open. The solicitation document, incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38, Effective 1Feb 2010. All responsible sources offering the Brand name CommVault Galaxy software maintenance support stated below and as reflected in the attached approved brand name J&A may submit a quotation, which shall be considered. Prospective offerors must be CCR registered and must complete the ORCA on-line representation or provide a copy of their representation and certification as required by FAR Clause 52.212-3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541519. 1. Description: The required brand name software maintenance support is for Comm Vault Galaxy Software 24/7/365 Premier Maintenance Support for existing Comm Vault software utilized by 15 ACC bases and associate tenant units. This support is a Premier Level Maintenance Support which includes 24/7/7 coverage plus support to resolve issues. The period of performance will cover a 12 month base period from 13 Feb 10 thru 12 Feb 11 and a one (1) year option period from 13 Feb 11 thru 12 Feb 12. See attached listing for required brand name software maintenance support services. NOTE: Potential bidders must warrant that they are an authorized CommVault reseller/distributor capable of providing software maintenance support from CommVault. All CommVault products must be sourced directly from CommVault to include the full CommVault warranty and are supportable via CommVault's extended Hardware & Software warranty/support. All CommVault licenses and warranties/support contracts must convey to the US Air Force. Prices must be submitted based on FOB Destination prices. 2. Period of Performance: Base Period: 13 Feb 10 thru 12 Feb 11 Option YR 1: 13 Feb 11 thru 12 Feb 12 FOB Destination 3. EVALUATION: Evaluation will be conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-2, "Evaluation of Quotations or Offers" and FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation- Commercial Items based on lowest priced offeror providing "Brand name" only. 4. Delivery Location: 15 Multiple ACC Bases (See attached) 5.
