Description
The Government intends to release a solicitation in the next 30 days for the following: (17 ea)* Sewing Machine, Industrial: General Sewing: 301 Stitch; Light Duty, must use thread size A and E, with the ability to stitch 7 to 11 stitches per inch, with fabric puller. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing; which will include a table, table stand, motor, foot pedal, automatic lubrication and reverse feed. (Consew 7360R or equivalent) (26 ea)* Sewing Machine, Industrial: General Sewing: 301 Stitch; Light Duty, must use thread size A and E, with the ability to stitch 7 to 11 stitches per inch. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing; which will include a table, table stand, motor, foot pedal, automatic lubrication and reverse feed. (Consew 7360R or equivalent) (19 ea) Sewing Machine, Industrial: Zig-Zag: 308 Stitch; Heavy Duty, must use thread size E, with the ability to stitch 7 to 11 stitches per inch and 42 stitches per inch, width of stitch shall be 3/16", with special piping foot. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing; which will include a table, table stand, motor, foot pedal, large bobbin, wide Zig-Zag reverse feed, automatic lubrication and reverse feed. (Consew 146RB-2A-1 or equivalent) (35 ea) Sewing Machine, Industrial: Zig-Zag: 308 Stitch; Medium Duty, must use thread size E and FF, with the ability to stitch 7 to 11 stitches per inch and 42 stitches per inch, width of stitch shall be 3/16" with special piping foot. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing; which will include a table, table stand, motor, foot pedal, large bobbin, horizontal axis transverse rotary hook, reverse feed, automatic lubrication and reverse feed. (Consew 199RB-2A-1 or equivalent) (14 ea) Sewing Machine, Industrial: General Sewing: 301 Stitch; Heavy Duty, must use thread size 3, 5 and E; with the ability to stitch 5 to 8 stitches per inch and 4 to 6 stitches per inch, with 30 inch arm. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing; which will include table stand, motor, foot pedal, centralized arm lubrication, reservoir-piled hooks with micrometric control valve, presser foot locking lever, reverse feed, safety clutch, front hand wheel. Ability to convert between 1 and 2 needle operation. (Consew 745R-30 or equivalent) (17 ea) Sewing Machine, Industrial: General Sewing: 301 Stitch; Medium Duty, must use thread size E and F; with the ability to stitch 7 to 11 stitches per inch. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing; which will include a table, table stand, motor, foot pedal, centralized arm lubrication, reservoir-piled hooks with micrometric control valve, adjustable reverse feed, locking stitch regulator, and safety clutch. (Consew 206RB5 or equivalent) (19 ea) Sewing Machine, Industrial: Darning Lock Stitch; must use thread size A and E, with the ability to stitch 7 to 11 stitches per inch. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing; which will include a table, table stand and motor. (Consew 206RBL-25 or equivalent) (24 ea) Sewing Machine, Industrial: 301 Stitch; double needle, must use thread size 5 and E, with the ability to stitch 7 to 11 stitches per inch, with raw edge right hand binder. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing will include a table, table stand, motor, foot pedal, centra-lube, semi-automatic lubrication system, large vertical axis Hooks and bobbins, reverse feed, drop feed, needle feed, and alternating (walking) presser foot and safety clutch. (Consew 339RB-3 or equivalent) (20 ea) Sewing Machine, Industrial: Bartack/Box X; must use thread size E and F, with Box X clamp. Ability to 56 to 72 stitches per inch. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing will include a table, table stand, motor, computer-controlled, high-speed, bartacking machine. The machine shall have electric thread tension control. The machine must be able to perform as a Bartack and Box X apparatus. The sewing machine shall be programmable to a minimum of 30 different Bartack/Box X formations. Needle size shall be 135 X 17. The sewing machine shall be noise/vibration absorbing; which will include a table, table stand, motor, foot pedal, large bobbin, wide Zig-Zag reverse feed, automatic lubrication and reverse feed. (Consew RBL-2A-1 with 20 inch Arm or equivalent) (1 ea) Sewing Machine, Industrial: Overlock High Speed Double Needle with a needle gauge of 4.8. Shall have a needle-tread take-up mechanism; maximum speed of 7000 rpm; cartridge type oil filter and cooling fan; differential-feed micro-adjustment mechanism and an external adjustment mechanism for adjusting the feed dog inclination and increasing the differential feed ratio. Supplier must have experience training individuals as sewing machine mechanics. Prior to training an outline of training will be provided to this office for approval. Minimum training requirements are: 1. Set timing on all machines. 2. Daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS). 3. Lubrication requirements per machine 4. Set-up of programmable sewing machine (Bartack and Box X or equivalent). Individual should be able to program any required stitch formation needed to accomplish a task according to the applicable Technical Manual. Ensure trained individual understands how to operate the machine to efficiently change between the 15 different stitch formations. 5. Special attention to setting the timing on the Sewing Machine, Industrial: General Sewing: 301 Stitch; Heavy Duty. Going from a 2 needle operation to a 1 needle operation and vice versa. 6. Training shall be conducted directly after set-up is complete. Training sites and maximum number of personnel to be trained: 1. Fort Bragg, North Carolina (12 PAX) 2. Supplier shall install and set-up all sewing machines upon arrival at the designated facilities. 2. Supplier shall present an optional cost to provide maintenance and repairs for years 2-5. 3. Supplier shall follow the delivery priority and time line. Earlier arrival is authorized.
