Description
FEDBIZZOPS Advertisement for Anchorage Vet Center Office, Anchorage, AlaskaSOL# VA-260-10-RP-0274 The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking approximately 4,800 - 5,300 square feet of office space, in the Anchorage, Alaska area. The property shall be located within an area roughly square, described as follows: North Boundary -Debarr Road Extended, East Boundary - Muldoon Road Extended, South Boundary - E. Tudor Road Extended & West Boundary - Arctic Boulevard Extended. Preferably, the space shall be divided into the following areas: 1. Approximately 4800 to 5300 usable square foot of office space, (preferably at ground floor level). 2. The rentable floor space we will be seeking to accommodate 8 offices with 7 of them about 10X15 feet (1050') for the counseling staff and 15X20 feet (300') for the Team Leader. 3. A Group room, utilized for a larger number of clients and a Health Group workout area at 30X35 feet (1050' sq ft). 4. A 2nd Group room, utilized for a larger number of clients and a Health Group workout area at 30X35 feet (1050' sq ft). 5. A file room 30X15 feet (450' sq ft) to accommodate active and closed clients' records. Fully enclosed from floor to ceiling with a cipher lock on the entrance to the room. 6. A storeroom of 15X20 feet (300' sq ft) for supplies and archival materials. 7. A front desk and reception area that will accommodate a couch and chairs to include a coffee/food condiment area 25X20 feet (500' sq ft). 8. A telecommunications closet 9x9 feet (81' sq ft) to secure data communications equipment. 9. Elevators if office space is located above ground level. 11. Handicap entrance with wheel chair capable access to the facility. 12. Ample parking to accommodate 10 staff and 30 clients. 13. Flag poles outside the building. Restroom facilities shall either be contained within the space or shall be readily available within common areas of the building. The space may be either on the first floor or on an upper floor that assessable by elevator. The space must be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Parking, both handicapped and regular must be readily available. Convenient access to public transportation is a plus. All utilities including gas, electric, water, sewer, shall be included in the lease. Janitorial services may or may not be included in the lease. The duration of the proposed lease shall be a base period of five (5) years followed by five (5) one-year options.
