- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): W912BV-09-D-2019, EASKY CONSTRUCTION, LLC This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved due to Other Statutory Authority (DFARS 208.405-70(b)(1) or DFARS 216.505-70(b)(1)). Plug One Sluice Gate to REduce Future Maintenance, Canton Lake, Oklahoma in accordance with NAICS 237990. This ARRA project requires the construction of a cast-in-place concrete sluice plug downstream from the gate slots in Low Flow Sluice No. 2 and relocation of sluice gate, hoist equipment, and controls. In general, the work consists of the following but is not limited to: a. The control room roof slabs on Sluice Nos. 2 and 3 shall be removed to allow relocation of the gates and hoists to their new locations. b. A Linkbelt HTC-8670LB crane shall be provided by the Contractor and positioned as shown on the drawings to move the roof slabs. Only the specified Linkbelt crane may be used. c. The service gate in Sluice No. 2 shall be moved to the emergency gate slot in Sluice No. 3. d. The hoist equipment shall be removed from Sluice No. 2 and installed in Sluice No. 3 for the operation of the emergency gate. e. The sluice gate hoists controls and electrical power shall be relocated from Sluice No. 2 to Sluice No. 3, tested, and recalibrated. f. A steel plate cover shall be bolted to the vent on the Sluice No. 2. g. A steel reinforced concrete plug, including anchors and waterstops, shall be constructed downstream of the gate slots in Sluice No. 2. h. After relocation of the gates, hoists, and controls, and replacement of roof slabs, new Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roofing shall be constructed on Sluice Nos. 2 and 3 control rooms roofs.
