Description

The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Boise Field Office has requirement to upgrade, repair and replace items in the Boise, Idaho Field Office (Building 5). Building 5 is a 1,900 sq. ft. metal structure, built in the late 1960's or early 1970's, housing a garage door shop area and a separate work bench/storage area. In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the 'Act'), Public Law 111-5, this notice is provided for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), intends to issue a task order by using the Department of the Interior's Design-Build, Construction and Construction Services Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) issued by the Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS). All MATOC contract holders will be solicited. This opportunity is only available to the incumbent FWS MATOC contractors. The original awards were made on competitive basis. Full funding for requirements to be completed by the contractor will utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements, is required.
