- SON, Atch 1, 3 pages SON, 3 pages THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIAL QUALIFIED SOURCES AND OBTAIN INDUSTRY COMMENTS ON THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT. RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. Travis AFB is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide COST PER REPORTABLE results from an integrated core chemistry system capable of performing required testing menu located at the David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base (TAFB), CA in accordance with the attached Statement of Need. Required delivery and installation of equipment must be made by 30 June 2010 for Method Validation and fully operational by contract start date of 01 October 2010. Equipment setup will be a "Phase-In Period at No Cost to the Government." Responses to this notice should include company name, address, point of contract, Cage Code, and size classifications (HubZone 8(a), 8(a), HubZone, Small, Small Disadvantage and Large Business) relative to the NAICS Code 621511 (Size Standard $13.5 Million average annual receipts for preceding three fiscal years) or NAICS Code 334516 (500 employees). If another NAICS code would better fit this requirement, please provide. Please review the attached Statement of Need and respond to the following questions: 1. Are you currently a FSS Schedule or BPA for the service? 2. Does your company have on-site maintenance and repair training available? 3. What would the unit of issue for services provided be? Would invoicing be monthly, hourly, or by each? 4. Can you provide all or none of the services described in the attached Statement of Need? 5. Are there any special features or requirements, warranties, cost/benefit, etc. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Responses to this notice shall be emailed to the attention of debra.fernandez@travis.af.mil by close of business 24 February 2010. This notice is to help TAFB in determining potential sources only. No solicitation is currently available. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. If the solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. A response to this sources sought synopsis is NOT a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Attachment: Statement of Need (6 pages)
