Description
*** THIS SOLICITATION IS FOR SEDB 8(A) CONTRACTORS ONLY *** The purpose of this Screening Information Request (SIR) is to seek competent and qualified contractors to perform the subject project at the FAA Salt Lake City Air Traffic Control Tower (SLC ATCT) located in Salt Lake City, Utah. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project includes, but not limited to: Installation of Two (2) Government-Furnished Cooling Towers at the FAA SLC ATCT located in Salt Lake City, Utah, per the ATTACHED Request for Offer (RFO) Package. The estimated dollar value is UNDER $100,000.00. REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATION PACKAGE: Offerors must submit their completed RFO by March 04, 2010. Submit requests to: Federal Aviation Administration, ATTN: Mike Todd, ANM-52, 1601 Lind Avenue S.W., Renton, WA 98057. If you would like a copy of the RFO Package emailed to you, please email a request to michael.r.todd@faa.gov SITE VISIT (Mandatory): A site visit is scheduled for February 25, 2010 at 12:00pm MST. The FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. If you desire a site visit, please contact Malcolm Bell at 801-320-2191 or email malcolm.bell@faa.gov BEFORE February 23, 2010. Due to security requirements at the facilities, contractors must submit the name of the company, and all individuals planning to attend to the focal above on or before 02/23/2010. The FAA may make an award without communications or negotiations; however, communications and/or negotiations may be conducted to determine the best value to the FAA. The FAA also reserves the right to cancel or terminate this RFO/Solicitation at any time before, during, or after the closing date. Prospective offerors are hereby notified that employees of Net-Star 1, a private contractor to the Government, may be used in evaluating offers received under this SIR.
