- This acquisition to result in the award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for NSN 2840-01-146-5732, One-yr Base plus 4 one-yr options, Estimated Annual Qty 876, OEM-GE, CAGE 07482 with Approved sources--Palmer Mfg, CAGE 24115 and Adanac Ind., CAGE 11228, P/N, 5051M49G15, Unrestricted, other than full and open competition, Configuration Control, Ccommercial, FOB Dest, Inspection/acceptance Origin, Critical Application Item, NO surge required, NOT CSI. An export controlled TDP is available, Govt. FAT reqd. Quantity variance of plus or minus 5%. “A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the RFP. Choose the RFP you wish to download. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters. The estimated solicitation issue date is 4 Mar 2010. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
