Description
Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for PreSolicitation Conference The Office of Acquisition Operations, Medium & Heavy Vehicles (QMAE) along with the General Services Administration (GSA), Fleet office will host a Pre Solicitation Conference on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 8:00 am – 5:00 EST at a Hotel in Crystal City/Arlington, Virginia 22202. Specific hotel location will be posted within the upcoming week. Directions will be provided. The purpose of the conference is to establish a dialogue between industry and the government to allow all interested parties to better understand Fleets requirement for Vehicle Auctions and Support Services. All comments and recommendations, including those made during the conference must be in writing in order to assure they are given proper consideration. Any changes resulting from the comments and recommendations will be incorporated into the SOW issued in the RFP. Following the conference, the SOW will be finalized and the Solicitation (RFP) will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. The RFP will be available only through this website. The current schedule is to issue the solicitation by the end of March 2010. Attendees should plan on arriving no later than 7:30 am EST as there may be delays gaining access to the facility. Please be prepared to sign in prior to receiving access to the conference. Due to facility constraints the government must limit attendance to no more than two (2) persons per contractor. Please submit a by name list of attendees with corresponding firm to Daniel Reichmann at Daniel.Reichmann@gsa.gov with a courtesy copy to Laurel Weiskopf at Laurel.Weiskopf@gsa.gov no later than February 23, 2010.
